What Bird Nason Contracting Group is Hiring for:

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking applications for temporary Laborers for work at Shell Scotford. CLAC Project with benefits package and starting base rate of $29.09 based on a 5 & 2 rotation. Project duration 3 weeks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lifting, carrying, material
  • Spotting equipment
  • Site cleanup
  • Assisting with carpenters and other trades with various tasks
  • Past experience with painting and drywall is an asset.
  • Following safe work and quality policies and procedures
  • Take instructions from immediate Supervisor to complete tasks as outlined daily

The successful candidate must possess the following skills/attributes:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of industrial laborer experience
  • Email address and laptop provided for use in heated warehouse structure.
  • Be able to lift, carry and handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience working on an industrial construction site
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
  • Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
  • Able to work with their hands and safely operate small power tools

Must have the following:

  • Valid Driver's License (not GDL)
  • CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015
