Mig-Tig Welder

Type: Temp-Perm

Location: Terrell, TX

Pay: $18-$20 per hour DOE

Hours: 

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• OT as needed

Job Description:

• Perform General MIG and TIG Welding under the direction of the Welding Supervisor.
• Use hand tools, Drill Press, Grinders, Tape Measures & Sanders.
• Handle metal shopping carts as needed.

Experience

• 3+ years of welding experience in Mig and Tig.

Qualifications

• Certification is a plus but not required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Metal Fabrication and Metal Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
• Complete job assignments in a timely manner.

• Skilled in reading, writing, and arithmetic in English or Spanish.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.

Maintenance:

• General housekeeping in the work area.
• Report any equipment issues to the foreman.

Accountabilities:

• Follow instructions of supervisor/foreman.
• Communicate well with department foreman and co-workers.
• Report accidents or incidents to the department foreman.

Physical Demands:

• Simple grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting materials up to 60 pounds.
• Standing, bending, stooping, reaching throughout the day.
• Walking within the warehouse.
• Sitting up to 1 hour a day.
