Forklift Driver- Order Picker

Location: Oakville, ON

Pay: $21.00/Hourly

Job Type: Temporary/Contract-to-hire

Shifts: 8:30 am -5:00 pm or 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Responsibilities:

1. Operate warehouse machinery (Order picker)
2. Assist in warehouse functions such as picking, receiving, loading, replenishing etc.
3. Load materials on machine and collaborate with operators
4. Pack/stack, lift bundles on mail, ensure that mail is sorted appropriately for distribution
5. Retrieving materials for operators, ability to use manual pallet truck
6. Manual insertion of materials, verify and reconciliation of pieces enclosed
7. Follow mailroom procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
8. Responsible for ensuring work area is kept clean during and prior to end of shift
9. Associates must be licensed with 1 year experience.
10. Associate must have previous warehouse experience and be comfortable with case picking, loading trails, Inventory control, palletizing product.
11. Must be comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

1. Possession of a valid forklift order picker license
2. Fall Arrest certification for working at heights is required.

1. Must have forklift experience and prior experience working in a warehouse
2. Previous experience in a fast-paced, logistics environment considered an asset

1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
2. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and
3. General computer skills
