What Double Star Drilling is Hiring for:

Doublestar Drilling (DSD) is looking for an experienced, full time Skilled Labourer. We are looking for an outgoing, adaptable individual looking to learn and grow within our team and industry. Doublestar has many projects in and around the Regina Area- please note travel to these sites is a responsibility of the worker. We provide PPE required for the job (you must have your own steel toe boots).

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in exposed weather conditions
Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs, unassisted
Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with DSD safe work practices, policies and procedures
Capable of working under numerous and varied job site situations
Ability to identify hazards
Must report all incidents, near misses and equipment damage to site supervision
Ability to operate a laser for appropriate elevations; shoot elevations (concrete)
Any previous equipment experience is an asset (skid-steer, packer, loader, etc.)
Must have worked around various pieces of heavy equipment
Assist with other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age
Minimum of 1 year of previous experience working as a labourer in civil construction
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract) with own transportation
Valid CSTS-2020
Valid WHMIS 2015 certification
Ground Disturbance Level II
First Aid

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to participate positively in an engaging culture
Must be able to organize and plan tasks, with an ability to adapt to changing priorities
Must be dependable
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

Overtime as required
Repetitive bending and lifting

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour
