What Cameco Corporation is Hiring for:

Cameco is looking for an efficient and effective team player to join the human resources department on a two-year term. This is a disability case-management role, in which you will ensure the timely and consistent administration and delivery of Cameco’s disability management program, including the development and management of return to work plans. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a broad range of individuals as this role coordinates with employees, supervisors and site nurses, along with external healthcare providers and benefit vendors, to support disability-related absences. You will need to be able to communicate instructions well, utilize technology effectively and have an eye for detail. You will be a subject matter expert, providing coaching and direction on Cameco’s disability management program and processes, as well as supporting Cameco’s health, wellness and accommodation programs.

 

This is a fast-paced position with the opportunity to work independently and with a team. Cameco recognizes the importance of a workplace that enables our employees’ work to fit with their life. This is a temporary 24-month term.

 

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline
  • Three to five years of relevant experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience could be considered
  • Collaborate and build trusting and effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills

 

Assets:

  • CDMP and/or CRTWC designation
  • CPHR designation
  • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
