Welding Engineer, Technical Support

Location: Burnaby, BC 

Salary Range: $93,300.00 - $115,800.00 Per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide materials and welding engineering support to Engineering and Operations departments.
• Participate in the development of emerging technologies, including hydrogen-related initiatives.
• Take on smaller projects under the guidance of senior welding engineers.
• Field inquiries from Engineering and Operations departments, becoming an independent subject matter expert.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend enhancements to standards and procedures.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in material or welding.

Experience

• Four to seven years of related experience.

Certificates & Licenses

• Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
