 Pipefitter 

Location: Dayton, Ohio 

Job Type: Temp to Hire 

Shift: 1st Shift, starting at 7am 

Start Date: ASAP Weekly 

Pay: $27-$29 per hour (Depends on Experience)

• Local to the Dayton area, willing to travel 1-1.5hrs from shop location (Tipp City) for work Requirements:

Experience

• 3-5 years experience of industrial/commercial pipefitting

Knowledge & skills

• Piping system knowledge
• Experience working on welded, threaded, grooved, plastic, and copper systems
• System knowledge of Hydronic, Natural Gas, and Compressed air systems are a must
• Must be able to read prints and understand ISO pipe drawings
• Basic Rigging skills are required 

Job Details

• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems
  
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes using hand tools and power equipment
• Assemble and install a variety of pipes and fittings, ensuring proper alignment and connections
• Weld or braze pipes when necessary
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Inspect and test installed systems for leaks and weaknesses
• Perform routine maintenance on existing piping systems
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols
• Keep accurate records of materials used and work performed
