Seeking Millwrights in Oroville, CA: Full-time, Monday-Friday Schedule ($25.00-$27.00/hr DOE)

Location: Oroville, CA 

Job Type: Full-time 

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM 

Pay: $25-$27/hr DOE 

Job Description:

• Engages in the maintenance and repair of machinery and various equipment
• Proficient in maintaining elevating, conveying, and pneumatic systems
• Must be mechanically inclined with industrial machinery knowledge
• Must be able to work with tools and diagnostic equipment
• Visually inspects equipment, diagnose issues, and locate causes of malfunctions
• Dismantles machines and equipment for repair and maintenance
• Proficient in using power and hand tools
• Ability to read layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings
• Welding and fabrication skills must be at a high level
• Inspects machinery and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• Responsible for compliance to safety guidelines and regulations Requirements:

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of mechanical and electrical experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Welding and fabrication skills (welding certification a plus)
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Skill to use a computer and various software
• Ability to prioritize work orders and duties
• Ability to resolve reoccurring problems and issues
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform strenuous work and work indoors/outdoors in all types of weather
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, bending, standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.

Pre-employment

• Must pass a drug screen and background check
