Seeking Experienced Millwrights in OR: Up to $17/hr, Full Time Position

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and determine a solution in a timely manner. (Identify mech vs. elect) 
• Knowledge and confidence to make the critical decision whether equipment can stay running or shut down for repairs.
• Ability to fabricate and modify equipment in a neat and workmanlike manner.
• Perform PM’s on all pieces of equipment when needed including lubricate.
• Ability to call equipment and parts by its proper name and clearly identify parts that need to be ordered.
• Ability to identify hazards on upcoming projects, inspect equipment and tools. (Slings, harness, chain falls, etc.).  
• Is confident to STOP a job when a potential hazard has been identified.
• Follows and understands lockout tag out procedures. Able to identify the hazards of multi energy.
• Understands the hazards of crane picks, has the knowledge to inspect second party equipment before a pick. Has the proper hand signal training.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Willing to work after hrs. or weekends to keep the plant running.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment such as welders, cutting torches, hand tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, loaders, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Inspect, evaluate, and determine what parts are needed to repair equipment within the area of the specific plants.
• Successfully complete company millwright training (forklift, welding, mig welding, equipment hand signal, etc.) if needed.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Have a work order created for any maintenance jobs that are performed.
• Participate in safety and employee programs.
• Fill out timecards as per hours worked in areas 1-4. If it is for a specific project, then put that project name in instead of the area.
• Other tasks and projects as assigned.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Minimum 3 years Millwright experience preferred.
