What Bergaila is Hiring for:

Compressor Mechanic

Location: Pecos, TX

Compensation: $35/hour DOE

Assignment Duration: 6 months+

Work Schedule: 10/4 rotation

Responsibilities:

  • Daily operation and maintenance of compressors, glycol dehydration unit, B-Tex unit, incinerator, slop tanks, sumps, transfer pumps, "control air" air compressors, and all equipment associated with compressor facility
  • Maintain glycol, oil, chemical, and coolant stock for continuous operation of equipment
  • Perform oil changes and valve changes on all equipment in a timely manner
  • Order, stock, and label spare equipment needed to keep facility in operation, in an orderly fashion
  • Stay in contact with vendors for equipment, oils, chemicals, and filters for updated revisions and recommendations
  • Answer call-outs on compressor facility and assist with other "Area" operations when time allows

Experience

  • 6+ years related experience

Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with PC-based computer applications

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
