Seeking A Scaffolder - Apprentice & Journeyperson - Red Deer
What Jardeg is Hiring for:
Scaffolders to join the NOVA project in Red Deer, Alberta on a 4/3 shift with 10 hour days. This is a temporary, full-time position for scaffolders.
Schedule: 4 days on 3 days off, 10 hour days
Accommodations: Local to Red Deer only.
Rate: $38.68/hour for Journeypersons
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with both staff and Supervision to ensure expectations are met
- Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards
- Safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments
- Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
- Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset
- Supporting colleagues and participating in skills transfer
- Prioritizing daily work load with managing materials efficiently
Minimum Requirements:
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-2020)
- Fall Protection Entry & Monitor
- Confined Space
- Proof of hours (3000 hours or more) upon request
Preferred Requirements:
- Scaffold Certificate affiliation is preferred
- Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities.
