Hot Oiler Operator

Location: Edmonton, AB

Work Experience: 1-3 years

Pay: Competitive

Responsibilities:

• Driving and operating all equipment safely and professionally
• Demonstrating competent operation of equipment
• Participating in safety programs and adhering to all company and customer policies and procedures
• Attending safety meetings, FLRA’s, and hazard assessments
• Collaborating as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
• Ensuring customer and client satisfaction through excellent customer service
• Complying with all local, provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Keeping safety certificate training up to date
• Performing maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
• Completing and maintaining all required paperwork and documentation within set timelines, including daily logs and waste manifests
• Adapting to varying workloads and schedules, including emergency situations and routine work, which can be punctuated by very busy periods; as this is a 24-hour business, hours may be erratic
• Traveling is required, and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer worksites
• Ability to lift heavy tools and parts
• Must be able to work at heights of more than 6 feet and in confined spaces when required.

Certificates & Licenses

• Class 1 or 3 license with a clean commercial abstract

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Hot Oiler Operator
• Experience operating vacuum trucks and fluid hauling is considered an asset

Safety Tickets

• H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space (optional), familiarity with SAGD and plant environments

Knowledge & Skills

• Willingness to work hard and handle yourself in a professional manner
• Flexibility (able to mobilize within 24 hours)
