Safety Coordinator to start Immediately in BC

Safety Coordinator

Fort St John, British Colombia 

Responsibility will include the following,

Act as a resource for all safety related matters

Review contractor HSE programs and documentation to determine compliance with project HSE requirements

Perform site inspections, identify corrective and preventative measures and follow-up

Coordinate new hires/on-boarding, ticket tracking, orientations, arranging A&D screening, etc.

Organizing other training as required

Work closely with the Management Team to promote a proactive environmental, health and safety culture -incident investigation, root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions -Organize and hold safety and HSC meetings

work with auditor on core maintenance and external audits

maintain and Audit driver logs books -must be proficient with ISN Networld , Avetta and Safety Sync

strong knowledge to maintain the latest industry legislation and to ensure compliance

Other duties as needed 

NCSO designation or equivalent preferred.
