Region Engineer. 3+ Years As Field Engineer. Competitive Salary + Benefits.

The Region Engineer, Operational Excellence will be responsible for providing technical support to all customers and Field personnel operating spreads to obtain proper quality control and quality assurance.  

• Coach and mentor Field Engineers (FE), CrossFlo Engineers, Interns, and Stimulation Technicians within their respective region
• Support Operations Training and the internal engineering development program (CrossFlo)
• Drive and support technical and organizational changes initiated by Operations beyond their respective region
• Audit internal processes, support Region Operations and engineering audits, and assist in completing corrective action
• Work closely with Sales and attend key Sales meetings
• Attend all pre-job meetings when time permits
• Conduct routine visits to job site locations and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Compliance documentation
• Use current trend data to help make decisions that will improve job performance
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) events for field failed equipment
• Provide Technical Support to customer and Service Supervisor as needed
• Work with spread Supervisors and FEs to meet efficiencies and/or metrics using Pareto charts or alike methods
• Lead projects to reduce operational costs, such as fluid ends, fuel, maintenance, and consumables
• Ensures that CrossFlo Engineers complete training while being exposed to the Company’s entire operational landscape to ease future geographical assignment placement
• Lead projects to support Operations, such as Lean and/or Six Sigma
• Assist the operations management in identifying and assessing the Company’s engineering talent pool for future roles within other departments, such as Marketing/Sales, Operations Support, and Technical Services/Technology
• Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all interactions
• Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
• Perform other related duties as assign

Job Requirements:

• Willing to work extended schedules that may include days or nights, as well as weekends and holidays in different weather conditions
• Ability to travel as needed to other offices and work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Tech (MET), Chemical) or related field of study
• Completion of CrossFlo Program (12-month Universal Engineering program) or 3+ years’ oil & gas fracing Field Engineer experience
• Demonstrated technical ability with proven record of managing engineering projects
• Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver’s license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company’s vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Lean Six sigma or Lean practices and methodologies
