Red Seal Journeyman/Woman Welder

Hiring for certified Journeyman Welders for a client located in Hythe, AB.

Details:

• Duration of Assignment Types: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $40.00 per hour
• Locations: Hythe, AB
• Relocation is needed as this is a full-time permanent

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operated manual or semi-automatic welding: gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), and resistance welding.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate metal shaping machines and other metal straightening and bending machines.
• Review blueprints and specifications; ensure drawings and specifications will function as designed in the environment intended for use.
• Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.

Qualifications

• CWB Tickets must be valid and current.
• Maintain a set of tools to perform welding functions.
• PPE NEEDED: Steel-toe boots, Hard Hats, Glasses, and all other types of PPE are welcomed
• Journeyman Red Seal Certificate is a MUST

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience
• Operated manual or semi-automatic welding
• FCAW, MCAW, SMAW, OAW, AND GMAW process experience is required.
