Welder

Location: Brooklyn Park, MI

Pay: $23.00 Per Hour + Profit Sharing

Position: Full time

Schedule

  • 1st Shift:  5:00am - 2:30pm M-Th;   5:00am - 9:00am Friday 
  • 2nd Shift:  2:30pm - 12:00am M-Th; 12:00pm - 4:00pm  Friday

  • No weekends, Friday OT Possible): 

    Education

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Experience

    • MIG/TIG welding

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Ability to read tape measure

    Tools & Equipment

    • Steel toed shoes

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    Responsibilities:

    • Work in a team environment
    • Clamping and sparing, welding on aluminum and light gauge galvanized steel. 
    • Welding parts according to sizes specified on the work orders
    • Measure, square and assemble parts by welding parts together
    • Grind metal to correct sizes
    • Set up welding area for different production runs
