Stone Fabricator

Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 am to 3:30 pm 
• 30-minute lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Inspect stone for defects and imperfections
• Layout and arrange stone template for cutting
• Use a bridge saw to cut stone slabs
• Fabricate and polish stone edges
• Perform light equipment maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and instructions
• Knowledge of construction field terms and vocabulary
• Proficient in basic math operations and measurements
• Ability to use various scale conversions
• Problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety rules and guidelines
• Knowledge of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) standards

• Proficient in different measuring tools and power tools
• Ability to adapt to feedback and demonstrate attention to detail

Experience

• Experience operating bridge saws, splitters, forklifts, and cranes

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in stone miter and fabrication

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
