What Mastec Canada is Hiring for:

MasTec Canada is currently accepting resumes for Pipeline Labourers from Grande Prairie and surrounding areas. Work will be local to Grande Prairie with anticipated start date in mid-December, 2023 and continuing into 2024.

The pipeline labourer will be responsible to perform manual labour tasks and support operations on work sites.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous work experience as pipeline labourer would be an asset
  • First Aid
  • H2S Alive

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for promoting and living out MasTec Canada’s 6 Core Values
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and current clean drivers abstract is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to identify and report hazards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules
