We are seeking 25 Journeyman & Apprentices Pipefitters for a shutdown in Fort Saskatchewan starting Sept 11, 2023. The successful candidates will report to the site supervisor.

Salary: $26.00-$55.00 per hour with OT available.

Job Title: Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters - 15 Day shutdown

Job Type: Full-Time/Temporary 15 days/nights

Minimum Level of Education: Journeyman & Apprentice Pipefitters

Schedule: 15 days straight - Starting Monday Sept 11, 2023

Accommodations: N/A

Locations to be Supported: Fort Saskatchewan, AB

Position Summary

Other responsibilities include:

· Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality.

· Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is used.

· Reading and interpreting client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.

· Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, and assembling and installing piping, valves, and fittings.

· Joining pipe sections/related equipment and securing position.

· Using testing equipment to check systems for leaks.

· Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures.

· Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs, nights, and overtime upon client request.

· Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.

· Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.

· Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
