Location: Gilbert, AZ
Pay: $28-$32/Hr DOE

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Layout, excavation, and installation of underground utilities.
• Layout and installation of above-ground mechanical piping and supports.
• Experience in the installation of ductile iron, PVC, and C900 pipe and fittings.
• Install support equipment hangers and brackets.
• Cutting pipes using handheld, power tools, and pipe cutting machine.
• Assembling and installing tubes, fittings, and nonmetallic attachments.
• Operate material movement equipment to lift and support equipment and heavy machinery.
• Use of welding/cutting equipment.

Knowledge & Skills

• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Create a safe working environment and understand OSHA regulations.
• Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor.

• Ability to set up and perform piping tests.
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
• Self-motivated and can work well with others.
• Identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to Foreman/Gen Foreman.

Experience

• Experience setting mechanical equipment including pumps, tanks, dirt/air separators, and heat exchanges.

Pre-employment

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
