Pipefitters/Pipe Welders

Schedule: 

• Monday- Friday; 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM.
• 10-hour workdays, 5 days per week 
• 50 hours/ week

Job Description  

• Install industrial piping systems including chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.

• Possess working knowledge of blueprints and submittals, as well as sequencing aspects of installation of all plumbing, including roof drains, rough in, and setting fixtures.

• Fabricate pipe supports.

• Fabricate and spool copper lines.

• Work independently and solve small problem situations that occur during normal coordination with other trades.

• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision

• Hold license to operate all equipment necessary to perform your job.

• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.

• Minimum 5 years pipe fitter experience

Tools & Equipment

• Must have pipe fitter hand tools

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools

• Must have knowledge of pipe fabrication methods

• Knowledge of the different types of pipe, valves, fittings, as well as their function within the system

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift

• Able to stand and work for prolonged periods of time

Pre-employment

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
