What Citadel Drilling is Hiring for:

Citadel Drilling has recently posted in their official Facebook Page and website that they are looking for experienced Floorhands to help with their Permian basin operations.

This is a full time position that requires a minimum of 2 years experience.

Work schedule is on a 20/10 rotation that comes with single room housing, PPEs and per diem that's paid bi-weekly.

Duties include:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Tripping pipe and making connections;
2. Ensure that the drill floor is kept clean and orderly at all times;
3. Ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment;
4. Inspect tongs for wear, ensure they are in proper working order;
5. Inspect pipe spinner, ensure it is in proper working order;
6. Inspect rotary table;
7. Assist Derrickhand in mixing mud and chemicals;
8. Assist in maintenance and repair of machinery;
9. Handling of tubular goods - inspection and measurement;
10. Assist in drill line slip-and-cut program;
11. Assist in moving the rig, rigging up and rigging out;
12. Clean up and proper storage/placement of tools;
13. General upkeep of the rig including painting and cleaning as required.
