What CalFrac Well Services is Hiring for:

Shop Mechanic

Location: Grand Junction, CO or Vernal, UT

Pay: DOE

Position: Full-time

Schedule: 

  • 10 days on
  • 4 days off - day shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain hydraulic fracturing and cementing equipment using hand and/or power tools
  • Follow oral and written work orders
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding operations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with all operations groups to ensure trouble-free operation
  • Manage employee and equipment assignments and schedules
  • Ensure adherence to operational policies and safety procedures
  • Maintain safety standards and a clean work environment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions on mobile and fixed mounted pressure pumping equipment
  • Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs
  • Repair, replace, adjust, and align components of equipment
  • Test repaired equipment to verify adequacy of repairs
  • Operate equipment and communicate proper operation to others
  • Perform various other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience working in or understanding of oilfield services

Experience

  • 2+ years of equipment maintenance experience, diesel and hydraulic experience preferred

Certificates & Licenses

  • Diesel mechanic education/certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, Class A CDL preferred
