What Jardeg is Hiring for:

Pipefitter Journeypersons and Pipefitter Apprentices for Future Opportunities with the CNRL Albian project team on site north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Line up your outage and shutdown work for 2023, now. 

Shift schedules:

  • 24/4 or 6/1 rotation, 12 hours per day with daily overtime.

Compensation:

A competitive travel allowance will be provided to any worker from out of Province, and charter flights are provided from Calgary/Edmonton to site! While working on site, workers will be staying at the Albian Village Camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facility, Wi-Fi, commissary and much more! We also have new HIGHER rates for all craft workers!

 Job Details:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings.
  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
  • Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required.
  • Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
  • Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Read and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Red-line update drawings to an as-built condition.
  • Follow various company and Client policies & procedures including adherence to requirements of ISO 9001-2000.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Journeyperson and/or holds a valid recognized credential OR active Pipefitter / Steamfitter apprenticeship in good standing
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
  • Basic Rigging Certification
  • Aerial Work Platform (AWP)
  • Valid Government Issued Identification
