Mechanic Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $20.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

  • Weekend work required
  • First Shift (Sunday through Sunday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the maximum uptime of all vehicles and all mechanical and associated equipment assigned to a Land Seismic crew to facilitate planned operations systematically.
  • This involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, drive gear, tools, and camp equipment.
  •  Equipment - Maintains maximum up-time for all vehicles and all mechanical and associated equipment found on Land Seismic Crew.
  • Establishes and updates relevant work practices for the section in line with company standards as shown in the Mechanics Responsibility Matrix and ensures these are communicated to section members properly.

Mechanic Qualifications:

  • Must have updated resume Must live within 50 Miles of Belle Chasse
  • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends.
  • Must have 5+ Years of experience as a mechanic.
  • Must be willing to travel if needed.
