Shipper Receiver

Location: Edmonton Area, Canada

Work Experience: 1-3 years

Pay: Competitive

Benefits: Excellent

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all inventory entering/leaving the yard has appropriate paperwork
  • Order picking, pulling, palletizing, staging, and loading
  • Loading and unloading of transport and delivery vehicles
  • Operate forklift in a diligent, professional, and safe manner
  • Actively monitor material organization, stocking levels, and accuracy in the yard
  • Follow checklists, policies, processes, and procedures diligently
  • Maintain a safe and positive work environment

Experience

  • Prior forklift operator experience (2 years)
  • Prior building-yard experience is an asset

Education

  • Minimum Grade 12 education

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Schedule:
  • Working Monday to Friday, sometimes on the weekends
  • 8, 10, or 12-hour days
  • Day/night shift
  • Overtime after 44 hours in a week

Pre-employment
  • Permanent resident of Canada
