Service Technician

Location: Odessa, Texas 79762

Pay: $18 to $32 per hour

Position: Full-time

Job Duties:

• Repair and maintain rental fleet, customer machines, and new equipment.
• Clearly explain the diagnosis and repair of the machines worked on.
• Document all work with inspection reports and pictures.
• Repair and overhaul engines and related mechanical or structural parts for various equipment types.
• Perform repairs within established time parameters, maintain an orderly and clean work area, and assist with keeping the entire shop clean and orderly.
• Keep up with assigned work orders and inventory.
• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with employees, vendors, and customers.
• Completely fill out and turn in all work orders as completed.
• Study and review all relevant product repair updates.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain all equipment used.
• Meet with the supervisor to discuss weekly repair trends, comebacks, and service problems.

Requirements:

• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and read diagnostic codes and reports.
• Must have own tools.
• Display accurate and thorough work and monitor own work to ensure quality.
• Punctual with good attendance and ability to work as a team player.
