Mechanic Helper

Position: Full-time

Experience

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role. 

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components. 
• Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment. 
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and schedules. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. 
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately. 
• Attention to detail to ensure repairs are completed correctly. 
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
• Good communication skills to explain repairs to customers or colleagues. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools.
• Repair or replace faulty parts, such as belts, hoses, and transmissions.
• Assemble and disassemble engines and other components for repair or replacement.
• Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working order.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
