Maintenance Technician Level 3

Shift: 3rd shift (11 PM – 7:30 AM)

Pay: $34.56/hr

Location: North Charleston, South Carolina

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanical systems using necessary tools.
• Learn and understand safety protocols when working with electricity and other energy sources.
• Work independently and coach others.
• Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)Report hazards and injuries.Comply with HSE standards, policies, and procedures.Use personal protective equipment.

• Apply high standards of workmanship.Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.

• Perform troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and maintenance of equipment.Instruct and coach others.Document preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.

• Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
• Participate actively in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams.

• Recognize controls-related hazards.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience

• Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills.

Knowledge & Skills

• High mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to work alone with little supervision.
• Understanding of industrial washing and blasting equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management software is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles and troubleshooting methods.

• Champion proactive health and safety behaviors.

Manufacturing Knowledge 

• Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
