What Jardeg is Hiring for:

Pipefitter Journeyperson - Tidewater - Maintenance 

Location: Rocky Mountain House, AB

Pay: DOE

Requirements

  • Only candidates living locally to the Rocky Mountain House area will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality
  • Understand ISO metric drawings
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install piping, valves, and fittings
  • Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
  • Contribute to pre-job Toolbox meetings
  • Ensure PTA cards are included as part of each job/task
  • Conduct regular worksite inspections to monitor workmanship and safety compliance
  • Comply with Quinn and client safety policies and procedures
  • High degree of safety awareness and a commitment to safety (his/hers and others)

Experience

  • Registered Steamfitter/Pipefitter with previous maintenance or project experience

Certificates & Licenses

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Alberta Driver’s License 
  • Must requirements of Quinn Approved Driver Program

Physical Requirements

  • Able to meet conditions outlined on the Physical Demands Analysis

Pre-employment

  • Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and client training
  • Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test

Training Requirements

  • CSTS 2020, 
  • Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Entry, 
  • Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
