Industrial Electrician

Location: Dysart Rd and Waddell Rd (85379)
Pay: $29.00 – $33.00 per hour
Shift:

• Monday-Friday 
• 8am-5pm

Orientation:

• Mandatory on Monday or Thursday at 8 am before the first day of work

Job Responsibilities:

1. Understands and follows all safety rules and regulations.
2. Thoroughly understands Lockout/Tagout and how to stop all energy sources.
3. Performs major electrical repair and maintenance of SES, MCC, distribution panels, and energized equipment.
4. Must be Arc Flash certified and a competent person skilled in all voltages up to 480V.
5. Runs conduit up to 4” GRC and ensures all repairs/installations comply with current NEC standards.
6. Installs and connects power supply conduit and wiring to machines and equipment, connects cables and wires between power supplies, machines, and equipment.
7. Performs routine diagnosis, repairs, troubleshoots, and preventative maintenance on various systems and equipment.
8. Tests malfunctioning machinery and collaborates with other maintenance and production workers to diagnose problems.
9. Gains detailed knowledge of production equipment components for diagnosis and corrective action.
10. Assists mechanic tech with repairs of all machines when needed.
11. Keeps accurate records of all maintenance performed and completes work orders as assigned.
12. Recommends machinery and/or parts to be purchased.
13. Ensures work area is clean and organized.
14. Adheres to all Company rules and regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook.
15. Ensures corrective action is in place before leaving job/plant premises when a known problem exists.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced technical or college training preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Writing and mathematical skills.
• Five or more years of manufacturing, industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to operate gas torches, welders, and small power tools.
• Ability to multi-task and understand OSHA standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to handle a fast-paced and high-stress environment

• Ability to withstand various environmental conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and push/pull at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or stoop for extended periods.
