Electric Motor Shop Foreman
Location: Red Deer County, AB
Job Type: Direct Hire
Position: Full-Time
Earnings: $90K-$110K annually

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the team of technicians and the division.
- Collaborate with other managers to strategize growth opportunities.
- Promote the business and foster relationships with clients.
- Schedule and plan shop activities and projects.
- Budgeting and financial management.
- Provide technical support, expertise, training, and resources to technicians.
- Troubleshoot and inspect various electronic components, including motors, submersible motors, and pumps.
- Mount motors and pumps to skids and pump packages.
- Conduct electric motor repairs and rewinds.
- Support and provide knowledge to the sales team.
- Foster a safety-focused culture within the team.
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Electronic Motor Systems certification or Millwright trade ticket (an asset, but not required).
Experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, ideally working with electronic equipment, motors, and pumps (including motor rewinds).
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Commissioning/QAQC experience.
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to multitask, quickly pick up new technologies, and subsequently train technicians.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
