Process Operator

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Salary: $20.63 - $22.85 per hour

Position: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Job Details:

• Handling frozen Raw Materials (Animal Origin) and Hazardous Materials
• Continuous training (up to 4 months)

Schedule

• Graveyard Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Comfortable in wet and noisy environments
  
• Able to consistently lift up to 22.7 kgs (50 lbs)
• Good distance vision and color perception ability

Skills & Aptitudes

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
• Ability to multitask and complete tasks during the shift
• Strong team player
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities:

• Operate production equipment individually or as part of a team to meet scheduled requirements
• Record data to ensure chemical levels meet specifications
• Manufacture products according to required specifications and SOPs
• Ensure quality and safety of products, maintaining a clean environment
• Use proper ingredients and quantities, weighing and measuring raw materials
• Set up equipment, calibrate measuring instruments, and identify/correct malfunctions

Assets:

• Own transportation with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
• Prior work experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing companies
• Education beyond Post-Secondary School

• Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship,
• 19 years of age or older

• Reside in Abbotsford
