Now Hiring: Field Mechanic for Pipeline Equipment Repair in Belfield, ND

Field Mechanic

Location: Belfield, ND

Pay: DOE

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair mainline pumps, multi and single stage centrifugal pumps, auxiliary pumps, sumps, etc.
• Perform alignment and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and repair valves, valve operators, and pressure relief devices; perform DOT inspections.
• Repair all mechanical devices on the line, tank mixers, air compressors, check valves, etc.
• Assist with construction projects.
• Monitor third-party digging or construction on or near the pipeline and facilities.
• Order supplies and parts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of job-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• English language fluency, verbal and written.

Certificates & Licenses

• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to drive to and work in isolated areas daily.

Pre-employment
