Equipment Operator

Location: Vermillion and Area, AB

Status: Temporary, Casual (Expected to run for six months)
Work Hours: 

• Vary from 0 – 40 hours per week
• No minimum hours guaranteed

• Extensive travel required

Job Details

• Delivery and allocation of water pumping equipment throughout the Province
• Field inspections of pipes
• Identifying and reporting concerns to the supervisor
• Maintaining and organizing equipment in the storage area
• Following provincial vehicle safety standards
• Trailer repairs to meet safety standards
• Wiring of trailers and repair/maintenance of trailer suspensions, axles, brakes, and tires to meet highway safety standards

Education

• Some high school education plus one year of experience in the operation of preventative maintenance and routine servicing of medium industrial/agricultural equipment, or equivalent

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brakes (Q-endorsement) required
