What Adecco is Hiring for:

Class 1 Driver 

Location: Fort McMurray, AB

Pay: DOE

Shifts: 7 days on / 7 days off | 12 hours/day

Job Type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain waste services by collecting and transporting waste equipment
  • Operate various highway tractor/trailers and truck-mounted hydraulic hosting devices
  • Conduct thorough commercial vehicle inspections and report deficiencies promptly
  • Monitor and report on the condition and functionality of waste bins
  • Notify supervisors of any delays, unsafe work sites, incidents, equipment breakdowns, or maintenance concerns
  • Address and resolve client concerns

Pre-employment

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • TDG experience and AB Oil Sands site experience are assets

Certificates & Licenses

  • Valid Class 1 license and ability to provide a 5-year Commercial Abstract
  • Successful completion of a driver's evaluation on a manual 18-speed Class 1 vehicle

Pre-employment
  • Comprehensive pre-employment drug, alcohol, hearing, and visual testing required
