Location: Longview, TX

Salary: $15.00+ DOE

Position: Full time

Schedule

• 58 hours one week and 40 hours the next week 
• 6am-4:30pm 
• Monday-Friday and
• 6am-2:30pm on Saturdays.  
• Then the next week 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. 

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Assembles electrical/mechanical/hydraulic components by using templates or reading measurements, examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Assignments are routine in nature with close supervision and work primarily involves assisting more experienced employees
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
• Must be an advocate for safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Basic understanding of hand tools and how to use the right tool for the right job in a safe manner
• Moderate blue-print reading skills
• Able to follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of this position
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Medium level of physical demand
• Occasional lifting 21-50 lbs
• Frequent lifting 11-25 lbs
• Constant lifting 1-10 lbs.  
• Must be able to stand greater than 2/3 of time.
