2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler

Location: Tyler, TX

Pay: Competitive

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (contingent upon acceptance after probationary period)

Benefits: Great benefits offered

Hours: 

  • 2nd shift
  • Hours vary between 40 – 56 hours a week

Experience

  • Steady job tenure – candidates with consistent work history preferred
  • 3 plus years of experience in mechanical assembly required

Job Details

  • Ability to disassemble, refurbish, and reassemble complex mechanical components
  • Read mechanical drawings and weld symbols
  • Use handheld measuring tools such as dial indicators and micrometers
  • Operate lifting equipment like overhead cranes, with forklift experience

Physical Requirements

  • Physical capability to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pre-employment

  • Drug check
  • Background screening
