1st Shift Production Operator (5a-5p)

Sector: Manufacturing  

Location: Camby, IN 46113

Pay: $20.00 Hourly

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire 

Position: Full-Time  

Description:

Operators will be responsible for staging, prepping, loading, cooking, sampling, testing, and offloading finished products. Production operators also ensure machinery and reactors operate adequately.

Job Details

  • Operators responsible for staging, prepping, loading, cooking, sampling, testing, and offloading finished products
  • Ensure machinery and reactors operate adequately.
  • Energetic, dynamic candidate with the ability to work in a plant environment with varying climates
  • Start assembly and production machinery at the beginning of the shift
  • Load reactors with materials in various stages
  • Monitor and observe production to ensure the flow of production is not interrupted
  • Monitor control boards that control production temperatures to meet specifications
  • Perform sampling and testing to ensure products meet specifications
  • Ensure the production area is clean and free of debris
  • Responsible for moving materials to production areas

Education

  • High School diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • General math

Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in a factory, plant, foundry, mills, manufacturing, or construction
  • Experience operating machinery or equipment.

Pre-employment

  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
