Lease Operator III

Location: North Dakota

Pay: $40 - $50 Per Hour

Experience: +7 years of direct experience REQUIRED

Job Overview:

As a Lease Operator III, you will be responsible for expert-level pumping duties, including tank gauging, proper operation of heater/treaters, and maintaining production equipment. You'll identify potential problems, ensure compliance with regulations, and monitor and record relevant well information. This is a full-time position in North Dakota with a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities:

• Execute expert-level pumping duties, such as tank gauging and operating 3-phase separators.
• Work on various production equipment, including pump valves, treater dump valves, and gas regulators.
• Identify potential problems and assess action plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all areas of responsibility.
• Monitor and record well information, including production rates, liquid storage, pressures, temperatures, and injection volumes.
• Perform lease operator duties at well sites, oil & gas facilities, and injection or producing pipeline systems.

Experience

• +7 years of direct experience REQUIRED
• Compressor experience (Preferred but not required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Artificial lift, Gas lift, ESP (Preferred but not required)
• Organizational and planning skills for daily work schedules

Work Conditions

• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends (on-call position)

• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR

Physical Requirements

• Physical ability for standing, stooping, walking, climbing tank stairs, and carrying instruments (weighing up to 80 pounds)
