What ResourceMFG is Hiring for:

Diesel Mechanic

Location: Amarillo, TX

First Shift: 8am to 5pm Monday- Friday
Pay: 15.00/hr

Position: TX

Job Duties:

Perform preventative maintenance/machine inspections
Troubleshoot issues with gas & diesel engines
Determine parts & tools necessary for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
Complete service paperwork
Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts

Experience

2 years minimum experience with heavy truck or diesel/heavy equipment repair

Experience using mechanical and electrical power tools

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of a vehicle, its electrical system and the mechanisms of a diesel engine
Knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail
Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
Proficiency in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software
