What Elwood Staffing is Hiring for:

Millwright

Location: Kilgore, TX

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 5 pm (Some Saturdays)

Pay: $20.00/Hour

Schedule: Full Time, First Shift

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform fabrication and welding of support structures or plates for equipment installation
  • Install equipment considering the effects of pipe stress from flanges
  • Install couplings, gears, sheaves, belts, and drive chains
  • Precisely align coupling devices
  • Install and connect lubrication systems, seal flush systems, and prepare sensing devices for the Electrical group
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in lubrication systems, seal flush systems, failed bearings due to misalignments, and similar systems or equipment

Knowledge & Skills

  • Must pass a tape measure test
  • Ability to read blueprints

Experience: 

  • Previous millwright experience

Pre-employment: 

  • Applicant may be subject to a background check. 
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
