MIG Welder Needed in Dallas, TX: $19/hr - Weekends Off

First Shift Availability: 

The schedule is Monday through Thursday. 

4x10 hours shifts, weekends off.

Hours are from 6:00am - 4:30pm. 

Starting pay is $19.00 to $22.00/hr depending on experience level and weld test.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.

- Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.

- Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys.

- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.

- Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals.

- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.

- Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces as directed.

Qualifications:

- Previous welding experience in Manufacturing environment.

- Must have at least 1 year or more of consistent experience with MIG welding.

- Prior experience welding Aluminum, Carbon Steel, and Stainless Steel (Sheet metal experience a plus).

- Ability to pass pre-employment tests & screenings.
