Metalwork Company Seeking Welders & Riggers in BC - Up to $65/hour, 12 Hour Shifts, FIFO, Accommodations Provided

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure work instructions are carried out as per Supervisor directives.
• Ensure tolerances and specifications are met per company standards.
• Meet assigned production goals and objectives.
• Comply with Industrial Metalwork safety and quality standards.
• Project Shift is 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hour days
• Strong Fabrication skills ( preferred)
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong focus on Safety
• Dedicated to quality excellence with a superior work ethic
• Must be able to work unsupervised at times
• Prompt daily attendance at assigned schedule.
• Physical fit, good vision, and hearing, Able to lift 50lbs
• Experience in industrial / mine welding ( preferred )
• Maintain clean and orderly tools, work area and equipment.

Wage is dependent on EXPERIENCE

• 5 Years + mining / plant experience
• $45-$55 employee wage
• $55-$65 contractor wage
• IMW will provide flights to candidates outside 1000km radius of job site
• Accommodations/ Kitchenette provided

REQUIRED TICKETS / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver’s License, Class 5 (Personal Vehicle) Minimum
• Fall Protection Training Certification (asset)
• Confined Space Training Certification (asset)
• Working from Heights / Aerial Platform Training Certification (asset)
• Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol Screening Required
• SMAW All position – welder position (asset)
• FCAW All position - welder position (asset)
• Telehandler certificate and or forklift certificate (asset)
