Mechanical Pipefitters 

Location: Denver, Co

Pay: $28-$32 per hr DOE

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Layout, excavation and install of underground utilities. The layout and install of above ground mechanical piping and supports. Experience in the installation of ductile iron, PVC and C900 pipe and fittings.
• Rerouting sewer/ drain lines, demoing and installing diffusers, demoing and installing a bar screen, installing new UV system, and monorail
• Grade Checking and use of standard pipe lasers, use of GPS modeling equipment, and level & grade rod for calculating elevations and slopes are among the list of tasks that each crew member must perform. 

Knowledge & Skills

• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Able to create a safe working environment, and understands OSHA regulations
• Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor

• Ability to set up and perform piping tests

• Ability to identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to Foreman/Gen Foreman

Experience

• Must have experience setting mechanical equipment including boilers, pumps, expansion tanks, dirt/air separators, and heat exchanges

Personal Aptitudes

• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others

Travel

• Must have reliable transportation to job-site.

Pre-employment

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
