Our client was originally founded as a home delivery service, they have over 40 years of proven success through over 80 million home deliveries in North America. The client site inventories, then prepares for delivery various home furnishings to families across the Portland Metropolitan area.

SUMMARY

Primary responsibility is driving a standup fork lift, picking parts from the warehouse locations and bringing them to the staging and inspection area. Additionally, you will support various operations in the busy warehouse as the work flow and priorities of the day require.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS: Monday - Friday 5am -1:30pm*** OT hours are frequent and expected. Flexibilty with hours is highly desired***

PAY: starting at $18.50/hr

DUTIES

• Accurately transfer product / parts, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, move products throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform inventory counts as required.
• Read, interpret and accomplish WMS reports, recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer.
• Trained to recognize “obvious damage” at any point in the warehousing process and knowledge of action taken when discovered.
• Pull orders accurately as assigned
• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location
• Prepare Receiving / Storage / Shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process.
• Aware of and follows location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures.
• Position may require lifting of 40-60lbs.
• Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
• May operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery

SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial lift experience required
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas
• The ability to input data into various WMS computer systems
• Work overtime as assigned
• Able to work with powered industrial equipment required
