Manufacturing Technician

Location: Sugar Land, TX 

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00/hour

Hours: 8 am - 5 pm

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret assembly procedures, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly prints.
• Electronic assembly, connecting components such as transformers, diodes, capacitors, resistors, pin-connectors, and bus wire to boards or other components using solder, RTV, crimped connectors, or equivalent.
• Manual mixing, outgassing, pouring, and curing potting and/or other coating chemicals for electronic assemblies.
• Use of ovens, vacuum chambers, humidifiers, and fume hoods.
• Utilize hand tools such as torque wrenches, soldering irons, engraving tools, and other basic mechanical hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, Allen wrenches, razor blades, rulers, etc.).

Certificates & Licenses

• Certified in industry workmanship standards (IPC 610, 620, etc.)

Experience

• Experience with High Temperature (HMP) and/or Low Temperature (SN96) soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly procedures, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly prints.
• Familiarity with electronic assembly connecting components.
• Experience with manual mixing, outgassing, pouring, and curing potting and/or other coating chemicals.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong soldering skills and experience with High Temperature (HMP) and/or Low Temperature (SN96) are preferred. Certification in industry workmanship standards (IPC 610, 620, etc.) is required.

• Familiarity with ovens, vacuum chambers, humidifiers, and fume hoods.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools (torque wrenches, soldering irons, engraving tools, etc.).
