Manufacturing Process Operator

Location: Delta, BC
Job Type: Direct
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday/Day Shifts
Compensation: Up to $34 per hour (occasional OT available)

Travel: No
Relocation: No
Job Description: 

Responsibilities include product production through blending and batch processes, operating equipment, packaging, loading and unloading product containers, light maintenance, and mechanical repairs. Safety consciousness, cleanliness, and adherence to quality control procedures are crucial.

Required Qualifications:

  • Be able to operate a forklift
  • Full driver’s license with a clean driving record (BC Class 1 license ideal or committed to obtaining it upon hire)

  • 4th Class Power Engineer certification an asset

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a plant/manufacturing environment
  • Experience with handling chemical materials preferred
Knowledge & Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude - ability to diagnose and repair some machinery
    • Computer skills - Microsoft Office suite and other various Windows programs
    • Communication skills (both verbal and written/must be fluent in English)
    • Punctual and committed to your work
