Maintenance Technician

Location: Newnan, Ga

Pay: Competitive

Position: Full time

Job Type: Temp-Hire

Schedule

• First Shift, Second Shift, and Third Shift 
• Monday - Friday 
• No weekends

• Provide own tools-specialty tools are provided by company.
  

Job Details

• Repairing or replacing defective equipment or parts using hand or machine.
• Performing preventive measures for safeguarding the machinery against any kind of degradation on a regular basis.
• Cleaning and lubricating of parts.
• Calibrates the repairs pneumatic systems.
• May operate computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment.
• Responds to emergency maintenance as required.

Skills & Aptitudes

• General mechanical shop abilities ; use of lath, end mill, drill press, hydraulic press, tap and die, gear pullers.
• Some welding skills required Mig, Tig, or Stick.
• Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies and procedures involved in that particular maintenance site.
• PLC a plus.
• Ability to understand & follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), FDA & State Regulations and comply with OSHA standards.

Experience

• Beverage experience a must

• Low Voltage Experience (Required)

• Experience with Aseptic fillers.
• Experience with gable top fillers.
• Electrical troubleshooting a must.
