Maintenance Supervisor Job Available - ($45 TO $50 PER HOUR)

Maintenance Supervisor. 

Location: Markham, Ontario

Pay: $45 TO $50 PER HOUR

Job Type: Direct

Hours: Full Time, 40 hour/week

Schedule: 

• Monday to Friday (with some OT available).  
• Flexibility on when your days can start as long as it’s agreed upon and adhered to. 
•  Availability to respond to emergencies (downed machine, etc) after hours (evenings and weekends) only if needed.

Responsibilities

-Work alongside your team with repairs and completing work orders

-Supervise and execute maintenance and provide support

-Scheduling, training and coaching employees for the maintenance team

-Participate in daily SCRUM meetings with manufacturing lead-hands to review work orders

-Create and implement a formal work order system to track efficiency 

-Create a system to track any unplanned maintenance to forecast and improve machine uptime capabilities 

-Coordinate work to be performed by 3rd party vendors, contractors and custodians 

-Ensure efficient repair scheduling and review cost estimates 

-Prioritize maintenance and repairs of company machinery, equipment and tooling

-Control and monitor spare parts inventory

-Track and report machine downtime and make recommendations to reduce accordingly

-Implement safety policies and procedures for the department and be an active participant and member of the JHSC

Certificates & Licences

-MUST have a Red Seal Millwright (433A) ticket

Experience

-Experience in manufacturing and ideally electronics manufacturing

-Previous experience in a supervisory role

-CMMS software experience 

Competencies

-Knowledge and experience with CNC and injection molding machines and equipment

-Contractor negotiation skills

-Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

-Excellent time management
